FigureTom DeLonge (b. 1975)

aka Tom DeLonge · Thomas Matthew DeLonge · DeLonge

American musician and entrepreneur; co-founder, lead vocalist, and guitarist of Blink-182 (1992–2015) and Angels & Airwaves; co-founded To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science (TTSA) in October 2017 with former DoD intelligence official Luis Elizondo, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Christopher Mellon, and SRI/Stargate physicist Hal Puthoff.

What's documented

Born Poway, California. Co-founded Blink-182 in 1992; the band’s commercial peak in the late 1990s and early 2000s made DeLonge one of the most commercially successful figures in American rock music of the period. From approximately 2011 onward DeLonge began cultivating private contacts with U.S. military and intelligence personnel interested in UAP matters; the contact network was facilitated in part by Hollywood and Washington intermediaries and is documented (in the WikiLeaks Podesta-emails release of October 2016) by a series of email exchanges between DeLonge and John Podesta — then chair of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign — discussing introductions to figures DeLonge identified as senior intelligence sources. In October 2017 DeLonge co-founded To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science (TTSA), a Delaware public-benefit corporation, with Luis Elizondo, Christopher Mellon, Hal Puthoff, and several others. TTSA’s stated mission combined entertainment-IP development, scientific research, and aerospace technology. In December 2017, TTSA was a principal vehicle through which the Pentagon-authorized FLIR1, Gimbal, and GoFast Navy UAP videos entered the public domain via the New York Times article of 16 December 2017. DeLonge’s role in the contemporary UAP disclosure cycle is essentially that of the convener — the entrepreneur who, in his own framing, ‘built the rocketship’ that carried Elizondo, Mellon, and Puthoff from inside-government to public-facing. The substantive program claims TTSA has carried forward are, as of 2026, the same set of unverified-in-executive-branch-record claims that flow through Elizondo, Grusch, and others; DeLonge’s institutional contribution is to have provided the vehicle, not to have first-handedly produced the evidence.
