Notable & intriguing

Lothian and Borders Police investigated the event as a possible criminal assault and recorded ground marks - the basis for the frequent claim that it is the only UFO case subject to a criminal investigation.

-
The leading prosaic explanation is an isolated temporal-lobe seizure (Hannaford, Donnelly), with the injuries from a real mundane collapse - medically coherent but unprovable, as Taylor was never diagnosed epileptic and had no recurrence.
